Track Days
Here you see Jeannine following her mom. Notice how both Jeannine and Caroline look well ahead through the turn.

I think you'll agree that I'm one lucky guy. Having both my wife Caroline and daughter Jeannine as riding companions is the ultimate family "quality time".
Here are two photos of Jeannine following her Mom during two different track days.
Track days are not race events! These days are for riders to have fun and learn how to control their motorcycle better.
This is me in turn 6 at NHMS on my 05 ZX6R. Notice how my body is positioned inside the bike's centerline for extra ground clearance. Also, notice how relaxed my arms are. This allows the ZX6R to corner predictably.
Here I am riding with my friend Paul who is helping me sharpen my racetrack skills in preparation for racing the MZ.
It's fun to follow a rider of similar caliber. Here I'm following Tony from
tonystrackdays.com. Tony is one of the smoothest riders I know. Notice that he has a very different body position than I do. Tony keeps his upper body more upright and his head over the gas tank.
Jeannine and I like to rip around, two-up. She is a great passenger. She knows to look over my inside shoulder and lean with the bike.
I instruct for Tony's Track Days. Here I am following a customer who wanted some feedback about his riding. Notice how his body position is "twisted". I would encourage him to drop his inside shoulder and keep his torso more perpendicular.
A track walk is a great way to learn about the nuances of the track you are riding. It's amazing how different a corner can appear up close compared to when you're riding.
Here I am following Jeannine through Turn 6 at NHMS. She demonstrates excellent body position and head turn.
